Brandy Masterclass: A Brandy Revival – Monday, 15th April 2024
Le Vigne Wine and Spirits is pleased to recommence our much anticipated MasterClasses, now hosted in the warm ambience of The Exciseman Wine & Whisky Bar and limited to an exclusive group of 10 people.
Launching the new series of MasterClasses on 15th April 2024, is ‘A Brandy Revival, with grape-based Brandies’. Our classes are well known for an objective assessment of the Brandy Industry and practical approach to appreciating and selecting good brandies. You’ll taste a range of grape-based brandies from different countries, comparing and contrasting their different styles.
The course covers the very basics in the opening moments of the masterclass, and very quickly goes into the various stages of production and differences between these brandies. We will focus on the misconceptions and common mistakes when selecting and tasting brandies. We will also cover the pros and cons of purchasing cask and bring these investments into perspective.
Following a refreshing brandy highball aperitif, the evening will consist of a 2-hour masterclass led by your expert host. We will be serving bites to line your stomachs before the session, and a more hearty meal at the end of the MasterClass.
