On 8th June, The ExciseMan was honoured to host a Cognac MasterClass with Guest Speaker David Boileau of Houses Tiffon & Braastad taking participants on a journey through the flavours and captivating stories of Tiffon’s and Braastad’s finest Cognacs!

Established in 1875 on the banks of the Charente in Jarnac, Cognac Tiffon reveals the richness and diversity of the terroir through its very old eaux-de-vie of more than 100 years old, having one of the oldest Paradises in the region. A marriage with the Braastad family in 1913, led to the creation of Cognac Braastad which is still being looked after by their descendants.
